Yoga & Meditation

in the Workplace

A Moment to Pause

Sustainable Working

Workplace wellbeing is the provision of activities that enhance the physical, mental, and emotional health of employees. It is a holistic approach which looks beyond simply preventing issues, instead focusing on how to proactively help employees feel, and thus perform, at their best.

Yoga and meditation are an impactful addition to any workplace wellbeing programme. They offer people a moment to pause and learn tools and techniques to better take care of themselves.

Practicing with colleagues also promotes social connection, helping to foster a more inclusive working environment and a healthy company culture.

Introductory Courses

Research has shown that regular yoga and meditation practice can have profound and long-lasting health benefits, including:

  • Enhancing mental clarity and concentration

  • Reducing stress and anxiety

  • Increasing energy levels

  • Boosting the immune system

  • Improving sleep patterns

  • Managing emotions

  • Improving posture, flexibility and balance

  • Increasing positivity and morale

My introductory courses for corporates break down the postures, terminology and techniques in a gentle way, with plenty of time to experiment and ask questions. The perfect format to learn the fundamentals of yoga, meditation and breathwork and begin a more frequent practice.

Regular Wellbeing Classes

The benefits of yoga and meditation can be noticed after just one session, but nurturing a consistent practice can really make a difference to an employee’s health, satisfaction and resilience. Regular classes are the ideal proactive measure, offering ongoing support to your team.

Options include:

  • Vinyasa Flow yoga — A mat-based flowing style of yoga designed to align body, mind and breath. It is adapted to suit all levels and offers a sense of progression, increasing flexibility, strength and balance.

  • Chair-based yoga — A low-intensity, more inclusive style of yoga that is performed sitting or standing whilst using a chair for support. It targets the typical postural imbalances of desk workers and requires less space, time and equipment.

  • Meditation — These mindfulness sessions are designed to provide a gentle and approachable ‘way in’ to meditation. Different techniques and exercises help to cultivate positive states of mind (gratitude, relaxation, concentration, energy) whilst dramatically decreasing stress levels.

What Clients Say

Chelsie is a fantastic instructor, I would highly recommend booking a yoga session with her. Our workplace hired her to run sessions for the staff and it has done wonders for the staff’s mental health. They look forward to the sessions as their moment of calm in the busy work week.
